THANK YOU!!!
On behalf of the Stacy Wise
Egan families, we would like to say THANK YOU to all of those who helped make the
Stacy Egan Memorial Golf Tournament a huge success!!
Over the past 10 years, we
raised over $140,000 for families affected by cancer. Our family took such
comfort knowing that we were able to ease the burden, if only a little bit, for
families battling this horrible disease. Stacy taught us how to live life, love
others and above all, be the best wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to
all!! It is Stacy's unbelievable example of how to live life, ferociously
fight for life and to end life, that has made it possible to do the unthinkable…..live life without Stacy. The golf
tournament was our way of honoring Stacy, and although this was our last year,
please continue to keep the memory of Stacy alive in your hearts.
Our golf tournament was a great
success, due in large part, to so many wonderful supporters over the
years…………
Lake Pepin Golf Course & the Schmidt family for opening up
their beautiful course to us and making our tournament and HUGE success every
year!
Hastings Green Mill & Tim O’Brien for the unbelievable
meals and stellar service.
Day Brightener Bakery & Mary Shepherd for donating her
amazing cookies that have earned thousands of dollars over the years for our
deserving families.
Storm Creek & Doug Jackson for donating
gorgeous golf jackets.
The UPS Store of Hastings &; Dee Bergschneider for helping
out with the printing the invitations.
Subway of Mendota Heights, Jamie & Aimee Swanson for
providing the subs for our lunch!
Jim Biermeier for being our M.C. over the years and adding so
much laughter to the tournament.
House of Wines, Kristie Williams & Heather Molitor for helping
with the jello shots and donating the ingredients!
The Game Night Girls”- Ondrea, Debbie, Lori, Kristie &
Heather Molitor for helping with our chaotic silent auction!
To all of you whom have attended the golf tourney or donated
generously over the past 10 years. We are continually humbled by your love and
support of this tournament in memory of Stacy! We know that she is looking down
on us and smiling at all that we have accomplished in her name! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

Jeff was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer just a few months ago. Below is a note from his wife, Janalee, telling us about their family...
"First let me start by saying how grateful and humbled we are to have been chosen as the recipients for this years Stacy Egan Memorial Golf Tournament.
My husband, Jeff, was diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma, bile duct cancer, on February 6, 2012. It was all very unexpected and overwhelming to hear. This type of cancer is extremely rare,
approximately 2,000-3,000 people are diagnosed each year. We were told that it had already metastasized so his option for treatment would be chemotherapy. Since the diagnosis he has undergone five rounds of chemotherapy. Each with its own set of side effects. Jeff had his first scan on April 2, 2012. While the tumors have not reduced, they have not grown, which is definitely a positive sign!! I am truly amazed by the strength he has to power through each
treatment. I know that the love and support from friends and family is what keeps him fighting with such a positive attitude!!
Jeff is a very loving, caring, passionate and strong individual. We have been blessed over the last 10 years of our marriage, with two beautiful little boys, Kaden 7 and Jaxon 4. Jeff is a wonderful father and husband. I know for Jeff, the boys and I are his primary concern. He continues to be as involved as possible in each day of their lives, whether it be with school, sports and daily life. Most who know Jeff, would say that he is a very determined, competitive individual who is not satisfied with just sitting around. Jeff loves to be outdoors, whether it be golfing, biking, fly fishing, hunting or skiing. So I find this truly fitting for Jeff, and we feel extremely honored that our family has been chosen this year.
We would like to thank the Wise, Egan, Schwieger, and Ehmkes families for allowing us to be a part of this years event. The generosity that our family has witnessed since this diagnosis is
absolutely amazing. We feel truly blessed to have such wonderful support from so many. We have created a caring bridge website to keep all of our family and friends up to date on Jeff and his journey. This allows everyone to post words of encouragement for Jeff as well. Please feel free to stop by and see how he is doing. ( www.caringbridge.org/visit/jeffreykeith) We hope to see you all on the course come August. God Bless!!
