Thank you!!
The day was so much fun!! A little chilly but Stacy brought out the sunshine for us! I know that SHE was the sunshine that day! She is always SOOOO present that day. It amazes us, that she is still touching people's lives even though she has been gone for 7 years! We miss her every day and know that she is proud of this event and all of you who help make it happen! You are all so much a part of our family and we are so thankful that you all love and remember Stacy with us! That means so much more to us (her family) than you can ever imagine! Thank you thank you thank you!
The Schwieger, Wise, Ehmke and Egan Families!
The Balloon Release... this is my favorite part of the day. I missed it this year though, which makes me so sad!

The Girls at our hole... the 15th hole was turned into a bar where we sold jell-o shots and cocktails! Always a fun time!

The Neveau Family
Over the last 8 years The Stacy Egan Memorial Golf Tournament has raised more than $85,000 for sarcoma research at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston as well as for 2 very deserving families. We thank all the participants for their love and continued support over the past 7 years. Last year alone, we were able to raise $15,000 for the Gahnz family. Cancer research remains a critical issue, and we look forward to the day when the need no longer exists. Unfortunately, that day is not yet in sight and many continue to be touched by the relentlessness of cancer. Again, this year, we are presented with the opportunity to make our golf tournament even more personal. A good friend of mine lost her best friend to cancer in March. I was reading her Caring Bridge site and my heart went out to this family. I immediately thought of them for the golf tournament this year. It seemed to come right to me and I knew this was a family that could benefit from our help! So many of her characteristics that her family and friends described were so similar to Stacy!
Karie Neveau was a remarkable woman, mother, wife, daughter, aunt and friend. For three and a half years she gave her all in a battle with a vicious form of breast cancer called Inflammatory Breast Cancer (IBC). Karie underwent 12 surgeries, 10 chemotherapy treatments and various forms of radiation and she did it with confidence, courage and hope.
The love and support of Karie’s family gave her the strength to fight. Her goals were simple: to see her six-year-old, Griffin, enter Kindergarten; and to spend time building memories with her four-year-old daughter, Addison. She cherished watching their personalities emerge and was amazed by their bravery in spite of the immense challenges cancer presented.
Karie never wanted sympathy for having IBC, she wanted to be a symbol of hope for other people who were struggling. Most of all Karie wanted her kids and husband, Brent, to know that she would always watch over them. Every night she would say “I love you to the moon and back, always and forever”. Since March 23rd of this year, all they need to do is look to the moon to find her.
Below is a picture of Karie and her family...
