Update...

Over the last 6 years The Stacy Egan Memorial Golf Tournament has raised more than $70,000 for sarcoma research at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. We thank all the participants for their love and continued support over those 6 years. Last year alone, we were able to raise $12,000 for a family that had lost their wife and mother to cancer. Cancer research remains a critical issue, and we look forward to the day when the need no longer exists. Unfortunately, that day is not yet in sight and many continue to be touched by the relentlessness of cancer. Again, this year, we are presented with the opportunity to make our golf tournament even more personal.

3 years ago Kristine Gahnz was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. The cancer stayed away for 3 years but retuned this past spring, this time in her liver. Kristine has had 2/3 of her liver removed and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. Her 3 children (Tate, Lexi and Noelle) are as central to her fight for life as Connor and Cullen were to Stacy’s. Kristine’s courage, selflessness, strength and determination will remainas ever present as Stacy’s does today. So the proceeds of this year’s tournament will be going to the Gahnz family. We know, without hesitation, Stacy would be so honored to have money raised, in her memory, to a very deserving family. Looking forwardto seeing everyone, old and new, this year!!
